PSEG, New Jersey's largest electricity provider, is a leading source of solar development in the United States.
The company's regulated electric and gas utility, PSE&G, was recognized by the Solar Electric Power Association as the nation's second most solar-connected utility. Through its nationally recognized Solar 4 All™ program, PSE&G is pursuing a two-track approach to developing 80 megawatts of grid connected solar by:
- Developing large-scale centralized projects including solar farms - several on brownfields and landfills - and rooftop solar systems
- Building the world's first and largest pole attached solar project
In addition, PSEG Solar Source develops, constructs, owns and operates large-scale solar facilities outside of PSE&G's electric service territory. It currently has five solar projects, totaling 54.4 MW (with another 15 MW under construction).
The interactive chart below details the solar projects that PSEG has placed in service as well as those in development.
PSEG supports renewable energy across all lines of its businesses. Learn more about how, by following the links below.
* Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G) is New Jersey's oldest and largest regulated gas and electric delivery utility. Its Solar-4-All program was approved by the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities.
** PSEG Solar Source is not the same company as PSE&G and is not regulated by the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities. It develops utility scale solar projects outside of PSE&G's service territory.
