New Jersey—A Great Place to Work, Live and Play
Even as one of the smallest states, New Jersey has a lot to offer—a temperate climate, ocean surf and mountain crests, vibrant art and culture, and a wealth of lifestyles to choose from. It might surprise you to learn that two-thirds of New Jersey is open space—valleys, mountains, rolling farmland, rivers and lakes. The famous New Jersey Shore includes 127 miles of white sand beaches, boardwalks and lighthouses.
In addition to boasting nine of Money Magazine’s “Top 100 Places to Live” in 2008, New Jersey has also been ranked in the top third of all states for livability, health, education and low crime in recent national polls. And with personal income tax rates among the lowest in the mid-Atlantic region, it’s affordable, which makes New Jersey a great place to work, live and play.
