Retirement & Savings
Virtually unlimited investment options make the PSEG 401(k) Plan a valuable savings and retirement vehicle. It offers a competitive match after only six months on the job, immediate vesting, and the ability to save before-tax, after-tax, or tax-free with a Roth option. Target Retirement Funds are also available and give you an efficient, well-diversified portfolio—designed and managed according to your stage in life.

Flexible Reimbursement Accounts
Use your before-tax dollars for health care and/or dependent care reimbursement.
Commuter Reimbursement Account
Similar to a Flexible Spending Account, the commuter reimbursement account allows you to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for eligible commuting expenses to and from work. The commuter reimbursement account allows for commuting expenses such as parking, mass transit, and van pools.
Postretirement Supplemental Health Benefits Plan (VEBA)

CHAMP Onsite Fitness Centers

Exercise Reimbursement Program
PSEG will reimburse you up to $300 per year when you join any fitness facility meeting certain criteria. Permanent, full-time employees are eligible. (CHAMP Onsite Fitness Center membership dues are not eligible for reimbursement.)

Bright Horizons Child Care Centers
Their program offers priority access for back-up, full-time and part-time child care at participating centers throughout NJ. In addition, PSEG is a Corporate sponsor of the Bright Horizons Emergency Back-up Child Care Center located in Newark, NJ. This center is most applicable to General Office employees and offers back-up spaces only.
