Do you work hard, but don’t earn a high income? You may qualify for the Federal and Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC). The amount of the EITC depends on your total earnings and family size. To get the state credit, you must file a federal tax form, be eligible for the federal EITC and file a state income tax return.

• Visit the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program website.  The VITA Program offers free tax help to low-to-moderate income people who cannot prepare their own tax returns.

Through Link Up America, eligible new Verizon customers receive a 50% discount on the initial phone connection charge, with the remaining 50% paid in 12 monthly installments. Together, these services provide an important community service helping to ensure that no New Jersey resident is without a phone.
