"Climate change is the preeminent issue of our time. How we respond to climate change will define our company and our industry for decades to come."
-- Ralph Izzo, Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer, PSEG
PSEG has long been a leader in calling for tough national emission standards for power plants and recognized the need to combat climate change as far back as 1993.
PSEG believes that combating climate change will take a multi-pronged approach that must include enhanced conservation, improved efficiency, increased renewable energy and new, clean central power stations (nuclear and/or clean coal).
