If you or a loved one use electrically operated life-sustaining equipment at home, you can receive priority power restoration from PSE&G in the event of an outage. However, it's important that you let us know of such special needs.
Have your doctor fill out our Life-Sustaining Equipment Certification and then you can fax or mail the form back to PSE&G. In the event of a power interruption, we will supply you with a estimate of the power restoration timeline.
You should also inform rescue and fire department personnel. And remember: PSE&G will restore your power as quickly as possible, BUT you should have emergency backup equipment to keep the life-support system operating until we can get the power back on.
