But there are times when we need your help in order to serve you better. Pets can hinder our ability to provide the services you require from us. And it's our goal to not only keep our employees safe, but also to keep your pets free from harm when we're working at your home. Whether reading your meter, investigating a problem or servicing your appliances, your dog or other animals need to be kept safely away from our employees.

When PSE&G employees are in your home, please secure your pet behind a shut door or secured in a cage/kennel.

• Make sure that the path leading to your meter is safe and properly lit-especially stairs.
• Keep the area around your meter and appliances free and clear of clutter.
• Trim bushes and shrubs around outside devices to provide easy access for employees.
• Notify us of any hazardous conditions, such as loose steps or railings.
