Enroll in the Equal Payment Plan

When you enroll, PSE&G calculates your Equal Payment amount by dividing your previous year's energy usage into 12 equal monthly payments. Your account will be reviewed every 6 months. If your energy use changes and your payment amount needs revising up or down, you will be notified.

The twelfth month is the balancing month. You will be billed your regular Equal Payment amount plus any balance that is due, or less any credit to you. Your balance month is printed on the statement portion of your bill. You can enroll at any time.

We will continue to read your meter each month to determine the actual amount of energy you used. Each bill you receive will show a special section with the status of your Equal Payment Plan.
