| PSEG Nuclear LLC operates the Salem and Hope Creek Nuclear Generating Stations and oversees PSEG Power's ownership interest in the Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station in Delta PA. PSEG Power owns 100% of Hope Creek, 57% of Salem, and 50% of Peach Bottom.
The Salem and Hope Creek units are located in Lower Alloways Creek, Salem County N.J., approximately 35 miles southwest of Philadelphia. Salem and Hope Creek operate in one protected area of approximately 750 acres, and employ approximately 1660 people (as of 12/31/04). PSEG Nuclear is an important part of its community, contributing more than $7 million in state and local taxes in 2004, and PSEG Nuclear employees are active participants in numerous local charities and community groups.
