Standard Offer
Note: this program is no longer available for new projects.
The Standard Offer is a performance-based program that pays for measured energy savings over a contractual term. Customers and providers of energy-related services that participate in the Standard Offer program are paid for measured savings through the installation of energy-savings equipment or material (lighting, heating, cooling etc...). Payment is for kilowatt hours (based on time of day and season) and therms (based on season) saved. Contract terms and requirements, as well as payments for energy savings, are standard for everyone - thus the name "Standard Offer".
